Under fives can enjoy a free club at Portsmouth Historic Dockyard every Friday.
The Dockyard, which has a plethora of paid-for attractions and ticket options, also lays on a number of free events throughout the year and one of these is The Cabin Club.
It takes place at The National Museum of the Royal Navy every Friday from 11am until noon and offers under fives and their accompanying adult an hour of music, stories and crafts in The Cabin Family Area in the Victory Gallery at the museum .
Families can take part in The Great Southsea Stroll and Fun Day at Castle Field on Sunday. It’s all in aid of The Rainbow Centre in Fareham, which inspires and supports children with cerebral palsy and adults with a stroke, MS and Parkinson’s disease and their families.
From 9am until 4pm, there will be zorbing, a climbing wall, pony rides, a bouncy castle and a prize draw.
Also taking place during the event will be a silly sports day, dog show and fun of the fair games. There will be craft tents and refreshments from local food suppliers, plus a vintage tea room.
Those who have already registered can take part in one of the sponsored walks.
Nature lovers can join a ranger and see some of the resident birds at Titchfield Haven Nature Reserve.
