Have your say

TRY your hand at making anti-boarding netting and tying knots this weekend as the Mary Rose Museum holds its ‘Life Before Steam’ event.

As well as finding out more information on the history of this famous vessel, you can also learn about its rigging and how sailors lived on board whilst at sea.

The event takes place at the Mary Rose Museum, within Portsmouth Historic Dockyard, this weekend.

It runs from 11am until 1pm and again from 2pm until 4pm tomorrow and Sunday.

Entry into the museum and to the event is free, once you have paid to visit the Dockyard.

Log on to historicdockyard.co.uk for more information or alternatively call the Visitor Centre on (023) 9272 8060.
