Titchfield history comes to life as you’ve never seen it before in fun-packed family show, Titchfield Spirit.
‘The play will be a unique opportunity for you to see the much-loved Titchfield Tapestries brought to life in the Great Barn on Mill Lane, now converted into a Shakespearian theatre,’ said Dr Peter Mills, who launched this exciting project.
Organised by the Titchfield History Society, this family stage play dramatises the Titchfield Tapestries and has been made possible with a grant of £5,600 from the Heritage Lottery Fund. This funding will also cover an oral history project researching Titchfield life between 1914 and 1945 and local residents are invited to get involved. Anyone with memories of the Titchfield area during this period can contact Ross Underwood c/o Titchfield Community Centre by calling 01329 842933 or emailing email@example.com.
