ROAD WORKS

FAREHAM: Palmerston Drive, off the entry to the industrial estate just off the B3385 Newgate Lane, closed until August; Hill Head Road until

August, Quay Street, West Street until March 31; The Avenue until May; High Street until April

GOSPORT: Trafalgar Square until March 25; Elson Road until April; Chapel Street until June; Wych Lane until February 2012

WATERLOOVILLE: Hambledon Road, London Road, Crookhorn Lane until April; Kidmore Lane, Denmead until May

HAVANT: Havant Road, Bedhampton Hill Road until July; Manor Road until April

PETERSFIELD: Sussex Road until April; Cranford Road until May

PORTSMOUTH: Bellevue Terrace, Brougham Road, Clarence Esplanade, Commercial Road, Fratton Road, Isambard Brunel Road, Third Avenue, Winston Churchill Avenue.

A3: Work continues on the Hindhead tunnel and some road and lane closures over the weekend.

RAIL

SOUTHWEST TRAINS

Overnight engineering work will affect some late Saturday evening and early Sunday morning services, until about 8am in the Southampton area.

Due to engineering work on Sunday, a revised service will take place between Portsmouth Harbour and London Waterloo.

SOUTHERN RAILWAY

Track improvements and maintenance are taking place from 12.35am on Sunday until 4am on Monday between Ford and Chichester.

Whilst work is taking place, buses will replace trains between Littlehampton and Chichester via Bognor Regis, between Chichester and Littlehampton via Bognor Regis, between Littlehampton and Chichester via Barnham, between Chichester and Littlehampton via Barnham, between Barnham and Bognor Regis between Bognor Regis and Barnham.

FIRST GREAT WESTERN

On Sunday the line from Bristol Temple Meads to Trowbridge will be closed until 4pm with buses replacing trains. All trains between Cardiff Central and Weymouth, Portsmouth Harbour and Brighton are subject to alteration.

BUS AND FERRY ROUTES

STAGECOACH: The junction between Winston Churchill Avenue and Isambard Brunel Road in Portsmouth is to be made smaller to make way for new homes as part of the Somerstown regeneration project.

All journeys on route 23 and Hoverbus towards Southsea will turn left at the roundabout before making a U-turn at the Bradford junction roundabout.

FIRST: Wych Lane in Gosport will be closed to all traffic until November or December in connection with changes to the road layout. Services 85 and 86 will be diverted from Nobes Avenue Shops to Gregson Avenue, Cunningham Drive and Fareham Road in both directions. This will affect the running time of this service. Service 88 will also divert from Carisbrooke Road, Brading Avenue, Brewers Lane, Nobes Avenue, Gregson Avenue, Cunningham Drive and Fareham Road in both directions.

A shuttle service, numbered G1, will operate every 15 minutes between about 7am and 7pm Monday to Saturdays to link with the diverted services.

The shuttle bus will operate in an anti-clockwise loop, running from Nobes Avenue Shops to Gregson Avenue, Wych Lane, Tukes Avenue, Carisbrooke Road,

Brading Avenue, Brewers Lane and Nobes Avenue, back to connect with the diverted 85, 86 and 88 services at Nobes Avenue Shops.

Tickets will be available for G1 to all points on the 82-88 services. Additionally service 85 and 86 will also operate a smaller loop in the evenings and on Sundays.

IOW FERRIES

Due to the annual routine surveys of Wight Ryder I and Wight Ryder II a revised timetable will be in operation until April 1.
