RAILWAY

SOUTHWEST TRAINS

All lines in the Southampton area will be closed late Saturday evening and Sunday morning until about 9.15am. During this time all train services which normally pass through the Southampton area will be altered and replacement bus services will run.

SOUTHERN RAILWAY

No planned engineering works.

FIRST GREAT WESTERN

On Saturday the 7.23pm service from Portsmouth Harbour to Cardiff Central will terminate at Newport. Change at Newport for a train to Cardiff Central.

The 8.23pm service from Portsmouth Harbour to Cardiff Central will terminate at Bristol Parkway with a bus running to Cardiff Central.

On Monday and Tuesday most of the Cardiff Central to Portsmouth Harbour services will be retimed to depart Cardiff Central a few minutes earlier.

Trains in the opposite direction will arrive at Cardiff Central a few minutes later.

BUS AND FERRIES

STAGECOACH

No planned disruption to services.

FIRST

Due to the closure of Wych Lane in Bridgemary as part of the BRT works First will be revising services 81, 82, 83, 85, 86 and 88.

Journeys operated as service 81 will be replaced with journeys operating as 83 with minor timetable changes.

Service 85 and 86 will be diverted from Nobes Avenue Shops to Gregson Avenue, Cunningham Drive and Fareham Road in both directions.

Service 88 will also divert from Carisbrooke Road, Brading Avenue, Brewers Lane, Nobes Avenue, Gregson Avenue, Cunningham Drive and Fareham Road in both directions.

A shuttle service, numbered G1, will operate every 15 minutes between 7am and 7pm on Monday to Saturdays to link with the diverted services.

The shuttle bus will operate in an anti-clockwise loop, running from Nobes Avenue Shops to Gregson Avenue, Wych Lane, Tukes Avenue, Carisbrooke Road, Brading Avenue, Brewers Lane and Nobes Avenue, connecting with the diverted 85, 86 and 88 services at Nobes Avenue shops.

Due to road works it is not possible to turn left into Redlands Lane from The Avenue.

Service 31 will operate a one way loop via The Avenue, before turning left into Bishopsfield Road and waiting for its booked departure time at Fareham College, it will then operate its normal route.

Service 87 will divert via The Avenue, Bishopsfield Road and Longfield Avenue on journeys from Fareham. It will not serve St Michael’s Grove or Redlands Lane on journeys from Fareham.

No planned disruption to services.
