RAILWAYS

SOUTH WEST TRAINS

Due to engineering works on Sunday, buses will replace trains between Petersfield and Portsmouth Harbour.

All lines in the Havant area will be closed on Sunday until mid-morning. During this time buses will replace trains between Portsmouth Harbour and Petersfield.

A revised train service will run between Petersfield and London Waterloo.

SOUTHERN RAILWAY

On Sunday, engineering work will take place between Southbourne and Fratton and Cosham until 10.25am.

Buses will replace trains between Chichester and Portsmouth Harbour

FIRST GREAT WESTERN

Due to engineering works on Sunday, the 8.19am Romsey to Brighton service will be diverted after Cosham to terminate at Portsmouth Harbour. Passengers change at Fareham for Brighton. On Saturday, the 6.48am service from Portsmouth Harbour to Brighton will not run.

BUSES AND FERRIES

STAGECOACH

Due to the closure of Palmerston Road in Southsea, the Coastliner 700 will be diverted.

The nearest temporary bus stops are at the crossroads of Palmerston Road opposite Avenue De Caen.

FIRST

Service 28 is to use Whiteley Way in both directions to and from Tesco during this time. Due to works taking place on Primate Road in Warsash between Warsash Road and St Anthonys School, this part of Primate Road will be closed.

Services 72 and 57 will be diverted.

Due to gas mains renewal taking place at the junction of Gomer Lane and Privett Road in Gosport the road will be closed to all traffic. The 34, 72 and 88 services will be diverted. Palmerston Road in Southsea is closed and services 5 and 19 will be diverted.

IOW FERRIES

Due to essential maintenance the 7.30am, 9.30am and 11.30am sailings have been cancelled from Portsmouth on April 24, 25 and 26. Also from Fishbourne the 8.30am, 10.30am and 12.30pm will be cancelled.

An additional sailing will operate from Portsmouth at 11am and from Fishbourne at 12pm on April 24 and 25.
