ROADS

FAREHAM: High Street; Warsash Road, Titchfield; Cliff Road; Highlands Road; Gosport Road, Stubbington.

GOSPORT: Gosport Road, Gomer Lane.

LEE-ON-THE-SOLENT: Marine Parade West until Wednesday

WATERLOOVILLE: Stakes Road; London Road; Milton Road; Ladybridge Road.

HAYLING ISLAND: Fishery Lane until Monday;

PORTSMOUTH: Albert Road, Lawrence Road, Allaway Avenue, Commercial Road, Elm Grove, Grove Road, Estella Road, First Avenue, London Road, Milton Road, Velder Avenue, New Road, Kingston Road, Palmerston Road, Steerforth Close, Unicorn Road, Edinburgh Road.

M27: Between J11 and 12, delays of up to 15 mins due to roadworks closing two lanes between 9pm and 6am.

The motorway will be closed westbound between J11 and 12 from 9pm on Saturday until 9am on Sunday.

RAILWAYS

SOUTH WEST TRAINS

Most lines between Winchester and Eastleigh will be closed all day Sunday. A reduced train service will run on one line which will remain open.

Trains from London Waterloo to Weymouth and Poole/Portsmouth will run on their normal route but will be delayed between Winchester and Eastleigh. All trains will call at Eastleigh.

Trains from Weymouth towards London Waterloo will be diverted between Southampton Central and Woking, calling at Fareham, Havant and Guildford.

Trains from Poole and Portsmouth will run on their normal route via Eastleigh, but will run to a revised timetable with extended journey times.

SOUTHERN RAILWAY

No planned engineering works.

FIRST GREAT WESTERN

On Saturday the 7.23pm Portsmouth Harbour to Cardiff Central service will be diverted after Filton Abbey Wood to terminate at Bristol Parkway. An alternative train will run from Bristol Parkway to Cardiff.

BUSES AND FERRIES

STAGECOACH

Due to the closure of Palmerston Road in Southsea, the Coastliner 700 will be diverted. It will be on the normal route as far as Duisburg Way, then continue along Clarence Parade up to Palmerston Road where the normal route will resume. A temporary bus stop will be on Clarence Parade just before the junction of Palmerston Road.

FIRST

Services 5 and 19 will be diverted away from Palmerston Road in Southsea during the road works.

· Due to gas mains renewal at the junction of Gomer Lane and Privett Road in Gosport the road will be closed to all traffic from Monday for approximately 28 days. Services 88, 34 and 72 will be diverted.

· Due to works in Warsash Road in Locks Heath, between the junctions of Common Lane and Hunts Pond Road, this part of Warsash Road will be closed. Services 80, 80A, 57A and 78C will be diverted.

· Due to traffic island and pedestrian crossing works at the New Road Junction in Portsmouth, Kingston Road will be closed to all northbound traffic. Services 1, 1A, 3, 14, 40, 43 and 53 will be diverted between 9.30am and 3.30pm on Mondays through to Fridays. A normal route operates at weekends.

· Due to the Freedom March to commemorate the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee, Quay Street and Hartlands Road will close for part of Tuesday.

Services 1A, 5, 63, and 57 from Portchester will take the normal route to the Delme Arms roundabout. At roundabout, they’ll take the first exit onto Eastern Way to roundabout then back on to the normal route to the bus station.

Services 1A, 5, 63, 57 to Portchester from Fareham to Quay Street roundabout – at roundabout they’ll take the second exit into Eastern Way then the slip road to the Delme Arms roundabout to normal route.

In Hartlands Road from approx 11.40am traffic will be held in West Street and at Portland Street roundabout for about four minutes while the march takes place.
