RAILWAYS

SOUTHWEST TRAINS

On Sunday the lines between Haslemere and Petersfield will also be closed on Sunday until late afternoon.

Until late afternoon buses will replace trains between Guildford and Petersfield. A shuttle train service will run between Petersfield and Portsmouth Harbour.

From late afternoon buses will replace trains between Guildford and Haslemere. A shuttle train service will run between Haslemere and Portsmouth Harbour.

Passengers from London Waterloo and Woking to Portsmouth should use through train services via Eastleigh to avoid the bus services.

SOUTHERN RAILWAY

No planned engineering works.

FIRST GREAT WESTERN

On Saturday services between Cardiff Central and Taunton, Portsmouth Harbour and Brighton will be retimed by a few minutes between Cardiff Central

and Newport. Some services will depart earlier than normal train times.

Until approximately 3.15pm on Sunday trains between Cardiff Central, Bristol Tempe Meads, Bath Spa, Romsey and Portsmouth Harbour or Brighton will be

diverted and will not call at Southampton Central.

Most trains will call additionally at Chandler’s Ford and Eastleigh. Buses will be in operation between Romsey and Southampton Central, Eastleigh and Southampton Central and between Fareham and Southampton Central.

BUSES AND FERRIES

STAGECOACH

Due to major gas works taking place in Stanhope Road, Portsmouth City Centre, service 20 and Coastliner 700 will be subject to diversion during these works.

FIRST

Due to highway works taking place on the bus stop lay-by in Creek Road northbound, Gosport, this stop will be closed.

During this time, there will be a new temporary stopping location in Walpole Road just north of the Morrisons Car Park entrance.

Due to major gas works taking place in Portsmouth city centre there will be various road closures affecting services.

Services 5, 5A, X4, 41, X42 and 16A will be diverted.

IOW FERRIES

No planned disruption to services.
