Local estate agent Reeds Rains, based in Waterlooville has supported the Denmead Charity Cycle Ride and have successfully raised £400 which will go towards helping charities Hannah’s Holiday Home Appeal and Myeloma UK.

This is the third year in a row Reeds Rains has supported this event.

Hannah’s Holiday Home Appeal offers breaks for families and children with life-threatening illnesses and Myeloma UK research cures for Myeloma which is a cancer arising from an abnormality in the plasma cells, a type of white blood cell, which is made in the bone marrow.

The sponsorship is part of the continued work by Reeds Rains to support the local community and build greater links with it.

Lettings Manager Charlie Edwards from Reeds Rains adds: ‘The Denmead Charity Cycle Ride is a great fundraising event and we are delighted to be able to offer our support for two very worthy causes.

‘The event was hosted at the Harvest Home Pub where the cyclists started and also saw lots of activities for the family to enjoy as well.

‘Among the various entertainments were a BBQ, Raffle and Tombola.’
