Southsea eaterie is bought

A restaurant in the heart of Southsea has been bought up by a private investor.

The venue at 48 Osborne Road is a restaurant-cum-residential premises, and comprises a 2,218-sq ft kitchen and restaurant, with a residential section upstairs.

The restaurant had been known as the Curry Naz Indian Restaurant, and specialised in Kashmiri dishes.

It is not known what will become of the venue.

The deal is worth 15,000 per annum, and has been bought by Garner Wood on behalf of a private investor from a private family trust.

A small property in Wayte Street, Cosham, has also changed hands.

The 492-sq ft property, number eight, was sold by Holloway Iliffe and Mitchell on behalf of the landlord to a private client for 85,000.
