Local estate agency Fox & Sons which is part of the national network Sequence UK, is expecting another extremely busy spring.

With a 7.5 per cent increase in buyers putting their property on the market reported during April 2014 compared to the same month in 2013, Fox & Sons in Waterlooville is expecting another rise in activity for this year and is advising prospective sellers to spruce up their property before the spring rush arrives.

With spring now upon us and interest from buyers rising, Branch Manager Amie Barton at Fox & Sons in Waterlooville believes that now is the most aesthetically pleasing time for potential sellers to get their property on to the market.

‘Easter is just around the corner which means spring has arrived and the longer daylight hours are setting in.

‘Flowers are in bloom, front gardens look more attractive and the sun is starting to shine. Ensuring that your property looks great at this time of year really helps as first impressions do count when it comes to getting the best price possible on your house sale’, she said.

‘As more sellers look to place their property on the market around the spring period, now is the ideal time to get the ball rolling with regards to selling your home.

‘Spring is traditionally known as the busiest time of year for the property market, which means the competition from buyers is fierce.

‘With this in mind we are urging anybody who is thinking of selling their property to get in touch with us now to see how we can help market your property.’
