YOUNGSTERS have been thrilled by tales of daring and adventure as part of Port Solent’s Kidz Club.

On Wicked Wednesday and Super Saturday children were invited to join in with interactive storytelling sessions as they searched for hidden treasure with Indiana Jeff and then met the rogues and villains of the infamous highwaymen.

Sam Warren, of Fairlea Road in Emsworth, and his family had gone to Port Solent for breakfast on Saturday when his two youngest, Hudson, seven, and Zak, five, got hooked.

Mr Warren said: ‘It was like a re-enactment and drama combined – they were really professional. They did a great job of telling a story and getting the kids involved.

‘The boys didn’t want to leave, they loved it, they wanted us to stay so they could go on the next one as well.’

The free entertainment was the first of the year planned for school holidays throughout 2011.
