The new Emsworth office of Fine and Country estate agents is getting off to a spectacular start with the marketing of two brand new and stunning homes at Langstone.

Set behind an existing screen wall, the properties – Mill House and Park House – bring a blend of traditional style and contemporary living.

Stone sills and lintels for the windows, a stone porch supported by columns and a twin fronted gable style set the scene, but in the centre of each house is a dramatic window rising from the top of the porch to the apex of a dormer set between the two main gables of the house.

‘The effect is dramatic and intended to throw light onto the galleried first floor landing,’ explains Sarah Banks, of Fine and Country.

‘It also lights the stairwell and an atrium in the roof also projects more natural light through the centre of each house to the entrance hall below.

‘Construction is well under way and at this stage there is still time for buyers who secure their house with a deposit to have an influence over final finishes to bring a bespoke nature to their new home.

‘Apart from the sills, lintels, and porch little about the detail finish is set in stone!

‘Each house has its own gated entrance with ample driveway parking and a garage to one side.

‘Both share the same floor plan with a dining room and study each side of the entrance hall – the L-shaped lounge is behind the dining room with the two separated by sliding doors, although each also has its own set of double doors from the entrance hall.

‘The large kitchen will be well equipped and looks on to the rear terrace, which is accessed via concertina doors from the lounge.

‘There is a bedroom to each side of the galleried landing at the front while the master and second bedrooms are at the rear, with the fifth bedroom between them.

‘The master has a dressing room leading through to its en-suite with both bath and shower – the family bathroom is similarly fitted – while the second bedroom has a shower room.’

The houses are close to picturesque Langstone Harbour and Langstone High Street, which leads down to Chichester Harbour and a shoreline path to Emsworth.

The A27/M27 are within half-a-mile while mainline trains to London and along the south coast call at Havant.

Guide prices will be announced nearer completion, anticipated for later this year. For more information, contact Fine and Country Southern Hampshire on 01243 487969 or email emsworth@fineandcountry.com
