The car was travelling along the A32 in Gosport when the driver lost control and hit a tree on the corner of Fareham Road and Cunningham Drive.
The Peugeot 106 then bounced off the tree and swerved back into the road, hitting an RAC van. It then c
aught on fire.
The incident happened on Friday night around 11pm.
Four people were inside the car - two boys and two girls.
One of those injured, an 18-year-old female, was thrown from the back seat, through the windscreen, and landed 20-30 ft away from the vehicle.
All the other three teenagers managed to get out of the car and fled the scene.
Police, two ambulances, a Basics doctor and fire crews from Fareham and Gosport were called to the scene.
Paramedics treated the 18-year-old who was thrown from the car while firefighters put out the blaze. The teenager was taken to Queen Alexandra Hospital, Cosham. Amazingly she escaped with only minor head injuries.
Meanwhile police caught up with the three teenagers who had run off and arrested them. They were not injured.
Inspector Martin Gilholm from Hampshire Constabulary control room said: 'It appears the driver lost control of the vehicle.
'One teenager was thrown from the car, which then burst into flames. They were very lucky.
'The teenagers are all local. Three of them were arrested and taken to Fareham police station to help police with their enquires, assisting us to find out what exactly happened.'
Gosport fire station watch manager Kev Roberts added: 'The people in the car are lucky to be alive.
'It's very rare for a car to catch fire. We're not sure why it did but it was probably from going through all the trees and bushes. They were lucky to have got out in time.'
