One of the south's top coach firms has been getting into gear for the FA Cup final.
Fareham firm Lucketts Travel has announced a £750,000 investment in top-of-the-range vehicles ahead of the summer holiday season and the rush to Wembley.
The investment is one of the biggest in the family firm's 82-year history, and director Steve Luckett said the four new top-of-the-range Scania Irizar vehicles put the firm in a strong position to cater for more demanding customers.
He said: 'With the new coaches now operating we have the most up-to-date fleet in the region.'
The new 13-metre, 12-gear buses seat 49 passengers. They have increased legroom and in-built thermostats throughout the vehicle, which automatically adjust temperature and humidity.
The firm is expected to hire 10 coaches on top of its 55-stong fleet to cope with the demand from Pompey supporters trekking to Wembley on Saturday.
More than 3,000 supporters will be ferried to the ground by the firm.
