BIKERS revved up excitement as they lined the streets of Portsmouth.
Hundreds of motorcycle enthusiasts gathered at the Long Curtain Road car park at Clarence Pier, Southsea, before completing a circuit of the city.

Others are invited to join the meet organised by Eagle Riders, Roadwarriers MC, the British GP Supporters Club and the Auto Cycle Union, which will now take place on the first Wednesday of each month at 5.30pm, until October.

'We have taken part in many similar rides in local cities. We wanted to do the same thing but in our home town,' said Eagle Rider Michael Fennemore.

The Eagle Riders rode from Land's End to John O'Groats last year to raise money for the Rainbow Centre, which helps children with cerebral palsy.
