The FA Cup is just a week away and scores of you have already vowed to go blue for a day of Pompey celebrations.
The latest to join our Blue2Day campaign to mark Pompey's FA Cup bid and raise cash in memory of a young fan is McDonald's.

Every restaurant in the city will be collecting cash for the Tom Prince Cancer Trust on May 16 – the day before the Cup Final.

And they have already made an excellent start by donating £350 towards today's Big Blue Picnic on Southsea Common.

Grant Copper, franchisee for the Portsmouth restaurants, said: 'It's such a great charity McDonald's wanted to do what we could to help.

'I'm delighted to be able to help in this way and all my restaurants will be taking part in Blue2Day, as well, so we can help to raise even more money for the trust.

'It's great to be able to support them and also celebrate Pompey being in the final, it's a fantastic achievement.'

Grant is the franchise owner for the McDonald's in North End, Cosham, Ocean Retail Park, Commercial Road and Fratton, opposite Fratton Park.

All the restaurants have been added to our Roll of Honour, which has been growing rapidly as businesses, schools and individuals pledge their support for Blue2Day, which looks set to be another spectacular day.

The first Blue Day – before the semi-final against West Brom last month – raised more than £50,000 for the trust, which was set up in memory of Pompey fan Tom Prince, from Southsea, who died of bone cancer the day before his 16th birthday.

Businesses are planning how to beat the amount they raised last time on Blue Day.

It promises to be a day of celebration as excitement over the trip to Wembley next Saturday reaches fever pitch.
