Shoppers were treated to live music as they enjoyed a visit from a farmers' market.
West Street in Fareham was bustling at the weekend with crowds of people who turned out to sample local foods.

Up to 40 local producers were selling the best of their produce directly to customers, while a church band filled the air with music.

Sarah Lewis, 43, of Titchfield, said: 'The farmers' market is always good, it's lovely to be able to buy local produce. It was especially nice this time to have some live entertainment as well. West Street is good for putting on different events for the shoppers.'

Farmers sold everything from freshly picked organic vegetables, free range eggs and fish from local waters to rare-breed meats, home-baked bread, cakes and honey.
