Man arrested following stabbing

A man has been taken to hospital after he was stabbed in Gosport last night.
The 46-year-old, believed to be from the local area, was taken to Queen Alexandra Hospital, Cosham, after the incident at 9.30pm.

He is now in a stable condition following the stabbing, which took place in Vale Grove, Gosport.

Last night police tracked down a 43-year-old man in nearby Palmyra Road, who they arrested in connection with the incident.
