Missing OAP back home
Police launched a full-scale search for a vulnerable pensioner after she went missing on a shopping trip yesterday.
Florence Lame, 78, was finally found this morning after she knocked on the door of a house in Robins Close, Stubbington at 4.30am.
Mr Lame, who suffers from dementia and was described as very small and frail, wandered off from her carer during a shopping trip in Fareham town centre.
The last definite sighting of her had been in Marks & Spencer in the shopping centre at 3.30pm, but there were other sightings in Park Gate and Warsash.
She was checked out by medics at the house in Stubbington, where she woke the inhabitants early this morning, before being returned to her home in Arundel Drive, Fareham.
The Hampshire Search & Rescue team and dog support teams were involved in the search around the Fareham, Park Gate and Warsash areas.
