Six men have been banned from going to football matches for the next three years after they were involved in a brawl.
Ben Fooks, Lewis Watts, Derri Stewart and William Dorran were in a group of Pompey supporters who clashed with Reading fans in a pu
b before the two clubs played each other at Fratton Park last year.
During the stand off glasses were thrown and damage was caused at the Trafalgar Arms in Fratton Road, Portsmouth, on September 29, 2007.
Two other men, Lee George and Charles Kennett, were involved in a separate fight which broke out on a train while they were going to the Derby against Pompey game on August 11, last year.
As a result, all six men have been given football banning orders. Under the terms of the orders Fooks, 29, Kennett, 21, Watts, 23, Stewart, 29, George, 28, and Dorran, 29, are banned from attending regulated football matches in England and Wales for three years.
They are not allowed to enter the area around Fratton Park prior to matches and two hours after they have finished.
The order also prevents the six men from going to cities or towns where Pompey are playing for 12 hours before and six hours after kick off.
If any of the men break the civil order they can be jailed for up to six months.
Fooks of Mayhall Road, Portsmouth, Watts of Maxstoke Close, Portsmouth, Stewart of Strode Road, Portsmouth and Dorran of Laburnum Grove, Portsmouth, all accepted the football banning orders. They will all pay £100 costs each.
But Kennett of Glasgow Road, Southsea, and George of Hawthorn Crescent, Portsmouth, were found to have caused or contributed to violence by District Judge Anne Arnold after a trial at Portsmouth Magistrates' Court. The pair were ordered to pay £750 costs each.
PC Paul Foley said: 'Hampshire police will continue to pursue those who chose to cause disorder.'
