TV's Tommy backs scheme

A celebrity DIY expert has given his backing to a home-improvements scheme for Hampshire's elderly residents.
Tommy Walsh, from TV's Ground Force, has given the thumbs-up to the Contractors In The Community Scheme, designed to help older people live independently at home.

County council-approved contractors make donations to the scheme which are then used to fund small maintenance and repair jobs at homes across Hampshire.
