A walk along the South Downs can blow away winter blues

BLOWING away those winter blues can be achieved by a brisk walk along the South Downs.

That’s the message from the South Downs Society which has launched 21 free walks for the public to enjoy.

The walks cater for all levels of fitness, from a few miles to 10 miles.

Keith Parry, a member of the society, said: ‘As the days grow a little longer, what better way to enjoy our National Park than to join a group of like-minded country lovers in exploring this most beautiful region of southern England.’
