THE son of Last of the Summer Wine star Bill Owen takes up a two-day residency at the Groundlings Theatre in Portsea today and tomorrow.

Actor Tom Owen, whose father Bill played the much-loved character Compo, will tell the careers of both men in Last of the Summer Wine – Treading the Boards from 8pm this evening.

Tomorrow, he returns to perform Samuel Beckett’s Krapp’s Last Tape from 8pm.
