People across West Sussex are being sought to become foster carers, giving a loving and stable home to children who need it most.

The LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender) Adoption and Fostering Week runs from Mondayand is aiming to raise awareness and educate prospective parents and carers about the process involved.

Foster carers receive a comprehensive support package from the council, including on-going training and financial allowances to meet the needs of the children and young people in their care. Go to
