A RANGE of events will be held for National Bike to Work Week.

West Sussex County Council is supporting the UK’s annual celebration of cycling which begins on Saturday, June 13.

The council will mark the occasion by hosting a Bikers’ Breakfast event in Chichester to encourage commuters to cycle to work instead of travelling by car.

Cyclists can take their bike along to a stand and grab a light breakfast to help refuel after their ride.

They can enter a free prize draw to win a £100 bike shop voucher.

The Chichester event is being held at the Market Cross in the city centre on Wednesday, June 17.

It begins at 7.30am and finishes at 9.30am.

Cycling information will be available to pick up on the 
day and staff will be offer advice.

Free security marking will also be offered.
