Two days of dragon boat racing will raise money for charity this weekend.

The event runs at Lakeside, North Harbour from 10am-4pm on Saturday and Sunday and is organised by two Portsmouth Rotary Clubs.

Teams race against each other while raising money for their chosen charities.

There are wooden benches for the 16 paddlers and room at the bow for a drummer and at the stern for a qualified helmsman.

There is also an exciting range of activities for all the family including health and sport activities, laser quest, archery, a children’s play area, charity stalls and various food outlets including a licenced bar.

It is free for spectators with ample car parking available for a donation of £2.
