Police dealing with ‘incident’ at Clanfield Co-op

Children can enjoy a comfy new place to hear adventurous tales with the installation of a story-telling throne.

The blue sofa was created as part of a revamp of the children's library at Gosport's Discovery Centre.

It has lights, cushions and an interactive toy mat for the children to play with.

'The children love it,' said Sarah Greenaway, events officer at the centre.

'They sit down and listen to stories on all different themes each week.

'We had a big art installation here and when that went we wanted to have something nice in the children's library, so we got the story-telling throne.

'It's absolutely huge.'

The reading sessions take place at the Discovery Centre, in High Street, every Wednesday at 2pm for children under five.
