FROM cutting out silhouettes to drawing with pastels, Elson Art Club offers amateur artists a fun and informal setting to practise their art.
The club meets at Elson Library in Chantry Road, Gosport, from 10am to midday every first Thursday and third Monday of the month.
Each session the group are taught something new by Ann Shelton.
Sandie Powley, of Dunkeld Road in Gosport has been going to the group for eight months.
She said: ‘We try something new each month and really it’s a community event to get people to come along to the library and enjoy themselves.
‘It’s mainly drawing – that end of art, with drawing, painting, collage and that sort of thing.’
