Art lovers in for a treat with spring trail

ARTISTS, sculptors and ceramicists will be opening up their studios to the public.

Preparations are well under way for this year’s Emsworth Arts Trail.

Artists from across the area have organised the event which is over the weekends of April 27 and 28 and May 4, 5, 6.

Carol Price, one of the artists who will be opening up her home, said: ‘The arts trail is a wonderful opportunity to visit the wealth of talent in local studios and workshops over two exciting weekends.

‘This is a chance to see and purchase original works, cards and reproductions as well as meeting the makers in more than 40 venues.

‘The trail guide leads you on a delightful tour around this vibrant picturesque coastal village with painting, ceramics, photography, jewellery, textiles, furniture and much more vying for your attention.’

Trail guides will be available free from local shops, businesses and trail venues.

Alternatively go to emsworthartstrail.org.uk.
