SCOUTS have raised hundreds of pounds for their summer camp by packing bags at a supermarket.

The 1st Locks Heath Scouts raised £1,471.

Scouts from both troops, Dragon and Phoenix, packed bags at the Locks Heath Co-op on the last weekend in April.

Scout leader Jon Whitford said: ‘We would like to thank all the shoppers who kindly donated and the Co-op for supporting local Scouts.’

1st Locks Heath will be packing bags again this weekend at B&Q in Titchfield.
