SITTING in a bath of baked beans might not be most people’s idea of fun.

But these two boys were doing it all to raise money for Camps International to build a new school in Ecuador.

Tom Newman and Dan Williams, both 15, spent 10 hours in an inflatable bath full of baked beans outside Lakeside in North Harbour.

They both attend Seaford College in Petworth and were donated the beans by The Co-Operative store.

Tom said: ‘It’s not nice. It’s not been the best. It’s boring and unpleasant.

‘But it’s not too bad because we’ve managed to raise a fair bit of money. People seem to respond really well.

‘They think we are crazy and mad. But they support what we are doing.’
