SPRING has finally sprung – and Bedhampton is once again carpeted yellow with thousands of daffodils.
The blooming flowers have become an annual event thanks to the Bedhampton Daffodil volunteer group.
For the last eleven years, the group has planted thousands of bulbs at the end of Portsdown Hill entering Bedhampton, as well as along the roads in the village, in Bidbury Park.
The flowers are a welcome site amongst the villagers.
St Thomas and St Nicholas parish administrator Pam Hasted said: ‘I admire what they do, as it brightens up the whole village and makes the whole area much nicer to look at.’
