A CHARITY that helps children suffering from autism and their families is celebraiting receiving a £2,500 grant to help its work.

And they’re celebrating after receiving £2,500 to go towards the work they do.

The Family Liaison Autism Support - Havant (Flash) were given the donation by former mayor Councillor Gerald Shimbart.

Flash chairman Justin Foster said: ‘We provide support to families with autistic children, or a similar condition.

‘We hold events such as hiring swimming pools and organising parties.

‘The money donated is fantastic.

‘As a small charity, the money will go a long way to help organise more events throughout the summer.’

Flash helps around 150 families.
