A POP-up cinema will be showing black and white films from the 1920s.

The Square Tower, in Old Portsmouth, will be showing Charlie Chaplin short films.

The pop-up cinema is part of Portsmouth’s Film Society programme of pop-up cinemas which appear at community centres throughout the city.

Chaplin short films such as Pay Day, The Idle Class, and Sunnyside are all to be shown on June 11 at 8pm.

The film session is set to last for around one hour and 20 minutes.
