A BUNGALOW was badly damaged in a fire.

Four fire engines were called to tackle the blaze at a detached house in Winston Crescent, Bognor, at about 7.50pm on Tuesday.

Half of the roof was engulfed by fire, while much of the ground floor was damaged by heat and smoke.

The fire took more than an hour to put out and a thermal imaging camera was used.

It was caused by accident.
