Staff from Grosvenor Casino in Gunwharf Quays took a bath in more than 400 tins worth of baked beans.
Terry Collins, 49, is food and beverages manager at the casino.
He said: ‘We wanted to raise money for the charity and we have done things before that have been quite boring, so we wanted to do something that was a bit different. It’s very cold and sticky.’
Tom’s family set up the charity in 2004, with the aim of raising £1m to go towards research into the disease. So far around £770,000 has been raised.
