A SCHOOL took a different approach to Blue Day as pupils dressed as the Blues Brothers.

Harbour School @ Tipner, Tipner Lane, enjoyed a day of wearing suits and sunglasses to raise money for the Tom Prince Cancer Trust.

An American police car was also at the school.

Dave Macaskill was in charge of the day and he thinks it’s important that the students learn about local charities.

He said: ‘We have been doing Blue Day since 2008 but this year we decided to do something a little different.

‘The students have enjoyed the day and it’s great for them to contribute to a local charity.’

The school also enjoyed blue sausages which were given to them by Twells Traditions in Portchester.
