AN OVERHEATED boiler caused a fire alarm to go off.

Two crews from Southsea fire station were called to Lumsden Road, Eastney, at 6.10pm on Tuesday.

Firefighters arrived to find the boiler was causing the alarm to sound.

It was turned off for an engineer to check.
