FIREFIGHTERS beat back a blaze that ripped through a garden after a bonfire got out of control.
A crew from Havant fire station went to the blaze at Middle Park Way, Leigh Park, Havant at around 9pm.
Flames reached roof height of surrounding buildings when the crew arrived.
They had spread to a pile of timber the homeowner wanted to use to build a shed.
The crew returned to the station at 10.15pm.
