THE RNLI’s Portsmouth inshore lifeboat was launched this afternoon to recover a 13-year-old boy who was stranded on a concrete structure near Langstone harbour entrance.

The boat went back to the station with him, and he was passed on to the Coastguard Rescue Team which then took him home to his parents.
