A JIVE band that featured on Britain’s Got Talent will be performing in Portsmouth urging people to say no to drugs.
The six-piece Jive Aces, who got to the semi-finals of the ITV1 talent show in 2012, will be appearing in Arundel Street, Portsmouth on Friday.
The jive and swing band, who are known for performing in bright yellow outfits, will be performing from 1pm to 2pm as part of the Church of Scientology’s Say No To Drugs campaign.
Lead singer Ian Clarkson said: ‘People look up to musicians and see them taking drugs and think that they then have to use them to be a great artist. What they don’t realise is that without drugs they would be a lot happier.
‘And they would also play a lot better and live a lot longer.’
