A BROKEN down train between Portsmouth Harbour and Havant has seen services delayed.

Commuters are facing long delays this evening following the blockage of the London-bound line between Hilsea and Havant.

Train services running to and from Portsmouth Harbour to London may be cancelled, delayed by up to 60 minutes or on a revised route.

Some services from London Waterloo will be terminating at Havant and starting service back to London Waterloo from Havant. Some services travelling towards London from Portsmouth Harbour will be diverted between Hilsea and Woking to run via an alternative route.

Buses have been arranged to operate between Portsmouth and Havant/Haslemere.

Rail tickets may be used on Stagecoach buses in the Portsmouth/Havant area on buses 20, 21 and 23 bus.

Southern services between Victoria/Brighton and Portsmouth will be terminating at Chichester and tickets may be used on the Stagecoach 700 bus between Portsmouth/Havant and Chichester.

Customers will be able to travel on Southern, South West Trains and First Great Western services to complete their journey.
