A BROKEN down vehicle has caused delays on the roads in Fareham and Gosport.

The break down happened northbound at the Quay Street Roundabout, in Fareham, at around 8am this morning.

It has now been moved and all lanes are open, but there are still delays in Gosport up to Fareham, and into Stubbington.

Hampshire’s road management system (ROMANSE) tweeted earlier this morning to say ‘#A32 and Newgate lane very slow and a 40min delay northbound towards the #A27 at #Fareham. Reports of a break down at Quay St rbt.’

Romanse later posted another tweet to say the broken down vehicle had been cleared, but warned motorists of delays.

Elsewhere, another break down happened this morning on the A3(M) northbound at Junction 1 Horndean, which was blocked the inside lane, but has since been cleared.

Delays are expected to last a short time.
