HAMPSHIRE County Council Trading Standards Service has been taking part in an investigation into the amount of horse meat found in food.
The authority is helping Food Standard’s Agency (FSA) carry out tests across the UK.
The FSA, which is responsible for food safety and hygiene, is looking into the serious mislabelling of products. It has already advised there are no known risks to public safety or health.
The FSA is expected to announce the full results of its probe in April.
