THREE members of county food group, Hampshire Fare, are celebrating being chosen as regional finalists in the Countryside Alliance Awards.
The awards celebrate rural life and produce and are based on nominations from members of the public. Many of the traders visit Southsea as part of the monthly farmers’ market.
Parsonage Farm in Upton, near Andover, have been highly-commended in the local food category, Isle of Wight Biltong was awarded highly-commended in the start-up category and Lyburn Cheese also made it into the south west finalists’ list.
Tracy Nash from Hampshire Fare said: ‘We’re delighted that three of our producers have been recognised for their hard work and achievements in these highly-coveted awards. We’re proud of them.’
