IBM is short-listed for the work it does with interns

TECHNOLOGY giant IBM has been short-listed for two National Council for Work Experience awards.

They recognise businesses of all sizes from all sectors that provide exceptional student and graduate internships.

IBM will compete in the Best Large Organisation category for companies offering long-term placements for more than 20 students. It is also up for the title of Best Employment Experience – as nominated by a student.

Winners will be announced on March 20.

Mike Hill, chief executive of the Higher Education Careers Services Unit, which operates the NCWE says: ‘We’ve had a fantastic response from students, which is a great reflection on companies like IBM that are striving to offer high quality schemes.’
