Industrial unit space filled by expanding firm

WILLIAMS & Co, an independent supplier of plumbing and heating materials, has signed up to take over 46,000sq ft at Fareham Industrial Park.

The firm, which has 27 outlets in the region, will be creating a new distribution centre and head office, including a trade counter, at Fareham Industrial Park.

The new distribution centre will be in units 11/12, directly opposite its new head office trade counter and additional warehousing facilities.

Will Fulton, fund manager of Standard Life Investments which runs the park, said: ‘This letting demonstrates the continued appeal of Fareham Industrial Park for industrial and logistics tenants who are looking for quality units in a prime location.’

The move is part of Williams & Co’s on-going expansion drive.

Ray Stafford, managing director of Williams & Co, which has 170 staff across the southern region, said: ‘The leasing of extra space in Fareham, creating an enlarged distribution hub, enhanced trade counter and new head office, is a turn-key aspect of our growth plans.’
