LAW students at the University of Portsmouth are being asked to take part in an essay-writing competition with the aim of getting them thinking commercially.
National law firm Clarke Willmott LLP launched the competition at an event at the university, and the prize is work experience.
The firm’s Kelvin Balmont said: ‘Good academic grades alone aren’t enough – students need to develop other skills and understand the needs of the clients they work with.
‘This competition should help anyone who enters to start thinking more about the challenges faced by their future clients.’
