FAMILIES can enjoy a night of entertainment and late-night shopping when Lee-on-the-Solent traders switch on their Christmas lights.
And the High Street will be lit up by hundreds of lanterns made by pupils from schools in the area at the event on Friday.
There will be a Christmas market all day with a hog roast and children can meet Father Christmas and his reindeer.
The lights will be switched on at 6pm and there will also be a procession of lanterns and a carol service sung around a Christmas tree.
The service will be led by the Rev Stephen Wright and the Solent Brass Band.
